DR. YU
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Yu went to UC Berkeley for undergraduate school while majoring in electrical engineering and computer science. After having a sports injury and being impressed by his orthopaedic surgeon, he decided to pursue a medical career and received a medical degree at University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine. His orthopaedic residency was done at Los Angeles County Hospital (also affiliated with USC) where he had to work 80 to 110 hours per week. In order to supplement his training, he did two years of fellowships.

Van Nguyen, PA-C
Van Nguyen has been part of Total Sports Medicine and Orthopedics since 2020. She earned her Master of Physical Assistant Studies in 2019 from Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. Before Physician Assistant school, Van completed her Master of Science in Medical Health Sciences. Van received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree from California State University, Fullerton. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Research Assistant in a laboratory where she published her work and received multiple scholarships and grants.

Andrew Trinh, PA-C
Andrew is a board certified Physician Assistant who has been with Total Sports Medicine since 2022. As a young child in sunny Los Angeles, California, he was always interested in helping others. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego in Biochemistry and Cell Biology before setting his sights on pursuing a medical career and serving his community.

David Graff, PT, MOMT
David Graff graduated with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Daemen College, Buffalo, NY in 1993. He then completed a 2 year Master’s clinical residency in Orthopedic Manual Therapy with the Ola Grimsby Institute while employed at UMC las Vegas.
